How OrbDraft works

It feels like fantasy sports — but instead of players, you draft real local spots. Your points come from the city’s actual behavior.

Join a public city league or spin up a private league with friends. Name your squad, set a season length, and lock in your draft date.

Draft partners in a snake draft: coffee spots, restaurants, dessert places, fun experiences, and everyday essentials. Balance hype with consistency.

All season long, you score points when people check in, redeem perks, and complete City Games at your drafted partners — including your own visits.

Win your league to unlock extra OT, badges, and maybe priority access to special events and routes in future seasons.

In your future Partner Hub, opt in to OrbDraft. Choose your main categories (date night, family, dessert, everyday, events).

OrbTap auto-suggests you in drafts where you fit — and shows you how often you’ve been drafted, in which leagues, and at what pick number.

When OrbDraft sends you traffic, you control the perks, caps, and hours. No surprise discounts. No weird obligations — just performance-based visits.

Over time, you can fund tiny OT boosts or draft promos if you want more people to treat you like their franchise player.

Scoring system (concept)

Every point OrbDraft counts comes from something useful: check-ins, real spend, perk usage, and City Games activity at real partners.

Check-in points

When someone checks in at one of your drafted partners, your team gets a small burst of points. Verified check-ins only — tied to visits, not views.

Perk redemption points

If a perk is redeemed at your drafted spot, you earn bonus points. Better perks = more reasons for people to chase points at your locations.

City Games bonuses

Store Snake runs, City Serpent missions, and OrbRaids that touch your drafted partners can grant extra multipliers — making City Games and OrbDraft feed each other.

Fairness & caps

Daily caps, per-user limits, and anti-spam rules keep points honest. Partners don’t get drained, and leagues stay competitive instead of exploitable.

In your first launch city, OrbDraft Season 1 can crown founding champions and give early players permanent flex and OT multipliers. You’ll be the first to draft local spots before anyone else.

Early leagues can have smaller pools and bigger attention — perfect for testing the system while still feeling like a real, competitive season.

Partners: get your spot drafted

Being drafted means people are literally rooting for your business to win. When OrbDraft goes live, your location can be part of the lineups people check every week.

Premium / Pro partners will eventually get better tools to understand draft behavior, tune perks, and coordinate with City Games and Route Forge.
